Fallin for Fall.

Woooo another couple of months come and gone! It’s weird how day to day life seems to go slow (especially when you are waiting for something) but looking back, time passes so quickly! In the past few months I have: Visited California TWICE in 2 weeks Visited Las Vegas Started school again Andddddd that’s pretty much it. Everything else isn’t worth blogging about. Well I’m pretty dang excited for the fall! I’m normally the kind of person who LOVES LOVES LOVES summer (especially the scorching hot temperatures in AZ!) But this year, I am SO OVER THE HEAT! I don’t know...I guess it is because I have a lot of fun fall outfits I want to put to use. Anyone that knows me knows that I seriously wear shorts, tank tops, and flip flops every day of my life. They are like staples. No scratch that. They ARE staples. At any rate, I am really excited to bust out my boots and leggings! Last year I was able t visit Europe, so I had to find some coats to bring and FAST.I ended up finding a few at a secondhand store for like 10 bucks each. For someone who lives in AZ and doesn’t normally need heavy coat, I couldn’t have been happier. Anyway, I now have a couple coats hanging in my closet that I want to use this coming winter so I guess I’ll have to travel somewhere! You won’t hear any complaints from me! Aside from all that, I’m SO excited for Halloween! I mean REALLY, REALLY excited! I bought THREE costumes and I plan on wearing each one of them at some point. I found some pretty fun stuff to do this October so I don’t think I’ll have any problems finding somewhere to wear my costumes. Kent’s 21st is also in October so woohoo for that!!! Lately, I’ve been tapping into my inner domestic goddess (I know she is in there somewhere!) I’ve been trying to make for instead of going out to eat, which is extremely hard for me! I LOVE eating out! If I could, I’d eat out every meal (although I pretty much do). Once my waistlines started increasing, and my wallet started shrinking, I knew I needed to change! SO. I’ve been “pinning” recipes on Pinterest in hopes of inspiring me to turn into the next Real Housewife of Gilbert.Right now, I have apple cinnamon chips baking in the oven so I guess that’s a start!

Screw the Kardashians.

I'm 21. Doesn't sound old, and it really isn't...but I feel old. Does that make sense? Seriously when did this happen? 9 years from being 30! When I think about that, my stomach starts to feel sick. WTF! Someone recently asked me if I felt any different now that I am 21 (just turned 21 a few weeks ago). At first, my response was, "Nope. I don't. I feel the same." Then seriously, (and I am not even kidding) I looked in the mirror and noticed that my body is changing. That sounds so stupid...kinda like those lame puberty videos we had to watch in school. But honestly, my body is different! I have never been a big person. Normal weight. Normal proportions (except for my height). Actually I have always been on the small side when it came to things like my boobs and butt...it sucks. I've been the same weight for years and honestly, give or take a few pounds, I looked pretty much the same. Then something happened. 21 happened. My mom may roll her eyes at this but no joke, my butt is a lot bigger. Not the "oh cute" bigger either. Excuse my language butttt gravity is a bitch. Enough said. I guess it's time to bust out my gym membership....

I was told to blog, so blog I shall. Life is pretty uneventful. I wake up. Walk downstairs. Go to work. Work. Take a nap. Homework. See Kent for about 30 minutes. Go to sleep. Wake up and do it all over again... No I can't really complain butttt it's routines like this that really make me want to get out of here and travel. My number one passion since I was a little girl. I'm only young once.... I had a meeting for starting the professional program in the fall. Student teaching will be here before I know it and actually I'm pretty happy about that. It basically means I'm THAT much closer to graduating! Yes, the end IS in sight! Someone please take me away from my "life" and travel with me. Much obliged. Til next time! Megan

buh buh boringggggg

Life has been...going.

Mostly good with a few little speed bumps here and there.

We went on our usual spring break trip to Rocky Point last week. It was so relaxing and much needed! I guess we did a little too much relaxing because the only picture I took was of a weird looking mannequin at a store there. haha Oh well.

Unfortunately (and very recently) Kent and I became unemployed so we are both trying to find work. Were hoping Kent can find a massage therapist position but he is having a lot of trouble because most places prefer to hire women...so we keep prayin. He's looked into security positions as well. As for me, I'm looking around at receptionist/admin type of positions so if you know of anything, I'd love to know about it!

It's official...I am addicted to the gym...way worse things to be addicted to though, right?? haha

I just purchased my "supplies" to start extreme couponing and I am actually really excited! Can't wait to learn the tricks of the trade and save some MONAYYYY!

This is random but I wanted to share this video that my friend Rebecca posted on another friend, Morgan's wall. I cry when I watch this I love it so much.

Disney dreamin

Ok. Cheese alert. You've been warned.

A lot of people ask me why I love Disney so much, and why I always want to go to Disneyland. This post is to HOPEFULLY satisfy any questions anyone might have about my love for anything Disney. Of course no post will ever truly give justice to my Disney love but a girl can try right??? Haha ok..here we go...

FIrst off Disney makes me happy. Simple as that. It isn't unusual (actually it's a daily occurrence) for me to get on Youtube and watch Disney videos. I watch Disneyland history videos, point of view ride-throughs, actual Disney movie clips, and basically everything Disney. Some of my favorite youtube videos involve parents surprising their kids with a trip to Disneyland. I think they are so sweet and it just shows you how much Disney is a part of a child's life. I also LOVE Disneyland proposal videos!!!

I love that Disney puts detail in EVERYTHING! Seriously...next time you go to Disneyland just take a look around...at anything,,,and you'll see what I mean. WHen Kent and I go to Disneyland that is one of our favorite parts- looking at the smallest of details that most people pass by. Tickets may be pricey (for those who don't know the tricks of the trade :P ) but I think you get your "money's worth" just because of the little details. No other amusement park on the planet puts THAT much effort into their park.

Disney food. Um I could just end this post right now. Disney food is the BEST! Kent and I usually pick out something we want to try every time we go to Disneyland (even if it is expensive, we justify splurging- I mean, it's Disneyland). One of my favorite things to eat at Disneyland is the Monte Cristo sandwich at the Blue Bayou restaurant. By the way if you ever get the chance to eat there, make reservations to sit RIGHT by the water. I mean RIGHT by the water. Even if you are on the patio, it doesn't give you quite the same experience unless you sit RIGHT by the water. It is worth the wait. Seriously. It is my favorite! I also HAVE to get a corndog (I recommend Corndog Castle in Ca Adventure). They are BIG and sooo good! Last time we went we ate at Plaza Inn and we really loved the mashed potatoes so we definitely recommend those. Make sure to also get some chocolate at the Candy Palace on Main street before you leave...you won't regret it.

That brings me to my next point- I LOVE that Disneyland gives you so many opportunities to start traditions with your family and friends. We have several. One of my favorite traditions is at the end of our day when we are about to leave, we stop in for 2 mini "turtles," and 2 mini truffles to split between me and Kent. We HAVE to do this or our trip isn't complete. We also ALWAYS get a cheesy "kissing" picture in front of the castle- super lame I know, but we do it anyway. We also save the "dark rides" for nighttime because one, the line is shorter, and two, it's just better! Those are just a few of our traditions but you get the point.

I love that Disney is for everyone- and has history. The Disney company and Disneyland itself has been around for years and years which makes it easier for everyone to enjoy Disney no matter their age. Everybody recognizes Disney which is another thing I love. I can't WAIT to share everything Disney with my kids because I love it so much- and I hope they love it just as much as I do! I'm 20 years old yet I still watch Disney movies (as a matter of fact, Disney movies are my favorite genre).

I love that you feel like you are in a completely different world when you are in Disneyland.
I love that there is so much to do- and a lot of shows and things when your feet have "had it."
I love that Disney employees, excuse me, CAST MEMBERS, are so nice and friendly. They truly do make my day so much better.
I love that Disneyland is so close to me and I can go when I want...haha usually.

I really do love the Disney company- especially Disneyland. I wish I could live there!

I'm really tired of typing sooo this is where it ends. Peace!
